This is the Latin American part of my world-food list for Barcelona: an Argentinian all-you-can-eat meat buffet, Ecuadorian and Peruvian food, Brazil and Mexico. Three of the seven are within a few blocks of the Sagrada Família. All the places come from my list of saved spots; the descriptions are put together from Google Maps reviews, and I'll add my own notes as I visit.

Prices are Google's average spend per person, valid as of 30 September 2026. Rate: 1 € ≈ $1.13.

Asado Bufet Lliure de Carns Argentines
Sagrada Família · Argentinian buffet · 30–40 € (≈$34–45) · daily 13:00–0:00
Google Maps · website · Carrer de Roger de Flor, 230
According to Google Maps reviews (4.7 from 23,000+): an all-you-can-eat Argentinian asado: a self-service salad bar, while the meat (short ribs, chorizo, morcilla, skirt steak) is brought to your table. Even Argentinians say they feel at home; reviewers praise the sausages, the empanadas and the very warm staff. The sides are more limited and a bit random. Don't come late: by 22:00 the buffet stations are thinning out.
El Ñaño
Sagrada Família · Ecuadorian · 20–30 € (≈$23–34) · daily 12:00–0:00
Google Maps · website · Carrer de Lepant, 203
According to Google Maps reviews (4.4 from 11,000+): Ecuadorian home cooking in huge portions; reviewers say one plate can feed two. They praise the lunchtime set menu, the beans with chicken and rice, and the ceviche. Ecuadorians say it tastes like home. Sometimes there's live music.
Cholito Lindo
Sagrada Família · Peruvian · 10–20 € (≈$11–23) · daily 8:30–22:30
Google Maps · website · Carrer de Cartagena, 285
According to Google Maps reviews (4.5 from 640+): a small Peruvian café with sandwiches, juices and desserts. The lunch deal with ceviche, ají de gallina, a beer and cake is about 14 €. Reviewers praise the lomo saltado sandwich, the chicharrón, bread just like in Peru and a lúcuma dessert. A couple of tables outside. One local complained that staff don't understand Catalan.
Manta Cuina Peruana
Esquerra de l'Eixample · Peruvian · 30–40 € (≈$34–45) · Tue 20:00–0:00, Wed–Thu 13:00–16:45 and 20:00–0:00, Fri–Sat 13:00–17:00 and 19:30–1:00, Sun 13:00–17:00, closed Mon
Google Maps · website · Carrer de Muntaner, 181
According to Google Maps reviews (4.8 from 390+): a Peruvian restaurant many reviewers call the best meal of their whole trip. They praise the ceviche, tiradito, lomo saltado and a chicha morada that's among the best they've had. Very warm service. There's no kids' menu.
La Carioca
Port Vell · Brazilian · 20–30 € (≈$23–34) · Mon–Fri 13:00–16:00 and 19:00–23:30 (Fri until 0:00), Sat 13:00–0:00, Sun 13:00–23:00
Google Maps · Pça. de Pau Vila, 1
According to Google Maps reviews (4.5 from 3,200+): a relaxed Brazilian restaurant with a big terrace by the marina. Reviewers praise the pão de queijo, feijoada, bobó de camarão, fried yuca, feijoada "bombas" and queijo coalho, and to drink, a passion-fruit mojito and a cinnamon "Jorge Amado" cocktail. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. A dish listed as spicy wasn't spicy for one guest.
Dos Coyotes
Gràcia · Mexican birria · 10–20 € (≈$11–23) · Mon–Thu 13:00–15:30 and 20:00–22:40, Fri–Sat 13:00–23:15, Sun 13:00–15:30 and 20:00–22:30
Google Maps · website · Carrer de l'Or, 19
According to Google Maps reviews (4.4 from 2,200+): a Mexican birria spot in Gràcia that people come back to two days running. Reviewers praise the tacos, burritos, elote as a starter and the margaritas. Downsides: it's very cramped, half the seats are bar stools, and ordering and paying go through a QR code that doesn't always work.
Metl
Poblenou · Mexican · 20–30 € (≈$23–34) · daily 12:00–0:00, Fri–Sat until 1:00
Google Maps · Instagram · Carrer de Llull, 57
According to Google Maps reviews (4.5 from 410+): a small family-run Mexican restaurant where everything is made in-house. Reviewers praise the tacos (including vegan ones with soy chorizo and oyster mushrooms), the chocolate mousse, the margaritas and a cevichilada cocktail. Generous portions and very friendly staff. It can be uneven: one guest found the tacos bland and the prices on the high side.
One last thing
Right next to the Sagrada Família it's mostly tourists eating, but three places from this list are within a few blocks of it: Ecuadorian El Ñaño on Carrer de Lepant, the Argentinian Asado on Roger de Flor and Peruvian Cholito Lindo. All are open every day, so you don't need to plan dinner after the basilica ahead of time.
