These are vintage and second-hand shops from my saved lists on Google Maps: the best of it is in Moda and Kadıköy, plus a couple of places in Beyoğlu. Where I have a note of my own, it comes first; the rest is put together from Google Maps reviews. If you're over in Moda, here are my coffee shops in Kadıköy and Moda.

Google has no prices for shops, so the amounts in the text come from reviews. Data valid as of 30 September 2026. Rate: 1 ₺ ≈ $0.020.
In short
- Best vintage: Lades Vintage in Moda and Kırık Altı Vintage in Kadıköy.
- Cheapest: Nostvintage, a leather jacket for 1,000 ₺ (≈$20), cash only.
- For vintage glasses: Caretta Vintage in Moda, though it isn't cheap.
- Where not to go: Petra Vintage isn't worth your time, in my opinion; in Beyoğlu, try Five Fiction instead.
Vintage in Moda and Kadıköy
LADES VINTAGE - Thrift Shop
Moda · vintage & second-hand · Mon–Thu, Sun 11:00–20:00, Fri–Sat 11:00–21:00
Google Maps · website · Soner Sk. No:2B, off Bahariye Cd.
According to Google Maps reviews (4.9 from 780+): for many, the best-curated vintage in Istanbul, with one-of-a-kind pieces in good condition at fair prices. The owner is friendly and never pushy. Cards are accepted, but paying cash may get you a discount.
Kırık Altı Vintage
Kadıköy · vintage · Mon–Thu 12:30–20:00, Fri & Sun 13:00–20:00, Sat 13:30–20:30
Google Maps · online shop · Tulumbacı Asım Sk. 10/A
According to Google Maps reviews (4.8 from 330+): run by a group of friends, and people come as much for a chat as for the clothes; you may be offered tea and tips on the neighbourhood. Clothes from the 70s to the 90s, local and imported, plus cats and good music. They take a Polaroid of you with your purchases, and prices are called reasonable.
Nostvintage
Kadıköy, Yeldeğirmeni · vintage · daily 11:00–21:00
Google Maps · Duatepe Sk. No:35
According to Google Maps reviews (4.1 from 200+): one of the best-value vintage shops in Kadıköy; some reviewers find the other shops in the area badly overpriced by comparison. Leather jackets get special praise: one went for 1,000 ₺ (≈$20). Friendly owners, but it's cash only.
Caretta Vintage
Moda · vintage eyewear · Mon–Sat 11:00–20:00, Sun 12:00–20:00
Google Maps · Etsy · Sarraf Ali Sk. No:17/a
This is the place for vintage glasses.
According to Google Maps reviews (4.3 from 67): a huge collection of sunglasses and an owner who takes his time fitting frames and tells you honestly if they don't suit you; there are good-quality replicas too. The downside is price, high for Istanbul: one buyer paid 9,500 ₺ (≈$190) and later found the same pair cheaper online.
Vintage in Beyoğlu
Five Fiction
Cihangir · second-hand · Mon–Sat 9:00–19:00, closed Sun
Google Maps · Ağa Hamamı Sk. No:29
An interesting second-hand shop.
According to Google Maps reviews (4.0 from 17): the stylish owner picks every piece himself, the shelves are full of odd and curious things, and a cat greets you at the door. It's expensive, though, and one buyer complained he was quoted double the price on the tag, so check the labels.
Petra Vintage
Beyoğlu · vintage & second-hand · Mon–Sat 10:30–20:00, Sun 12:00–20:00
Google Maps · Turnacıbaşı Cd. No:13
It looks like a rubbish tip and smells of mould. Far too many things of dubious quality.
According to Google Maps reviews (4.0 from 150+): opinions split. Some love the huge choice and the finds downstairs; others write about inflated prices and jeans with holes and stains that nobody had checked.
One last thing
The vintage shops in Kadıköy and Moda open late, at 11:00, and Kırık Altı not until after lunch, so there's no point going in the morning. Bring cash: Nostvintage takes nothing else, and Lades may give you a discount for it.
